YOUNGSTOWN -- Sts. Peter & amp; Paul Church was the setting at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 17 as the Rev. John Warner presided for the wedding of Jennifer Vogrin and Ryan Batta.
Parents of the couple are John and Kathy Vogrin, 157 S. Maryland Ave., and Diana and Albert Batta, 14169 Palmyra Road, North Jackson.
A reception took place at St. Mary Hall, and the couple left for their honeymoon at Paradise Island, Bahamas.
They are living at 4523 Deer Creek Court, Austintown.
A white satin strapless A-line gown was worn by the bride. It was trimmed with pearls.
Her sister, JoAnn Vogrin, was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Raymie Walsh, Melissa Cartwright, Staci Nicara, Stacie Weber, Mandy Matsouris, Allyson Darbish and Leslee Crish. They wore black gowns. The bride's cousin, Sonnet Colombo, was flower girl.
Brent Batta, the groom's brother, performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Billy Peake, Mark Wolsonovich, Charles Wolsonovich, Bob Weber, Dave Ulicney, Jason Lewton and the groom's cousin, Josh Swaney. Ring bearers were Zachary and Brandon Schmetterer.
Mrs. Batta is a student at Youngstown State University and is employed as a nanny for Ruth Mastriana and Henry DiRienzo of Canfield.
Her husband graduated from YSU with a degree in marketing and is an inside-sales representative for Unimast Inc. in Warren.
