INSTALLATION Humphrey to lead Western Star Lodge



BOARDMAN -- G. Edward Humphrey was installed Dec. 8 as worshipful master of Western Star Lodge 21, F & amp;AM, during an open ceremony at the Western Star Masonic Temple.
Humphrey, who erved as master in 1993, is the first repeat master of the organization since R.A. Bell in 1893-94.
He also serves the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite as thrice potent master of Hiram Lodge of Perfection and as secretary of the Aut Mori Grotto, of which he was monarch in 1998.
He and his wife, Karen, live in Youngstown.
Associate officers: Also installed were the Rev. John R. Selders, senior warden; R. Bruce Zimmer, junior warden; Earl H. Stahl, treasurer; Howard C. Bodine Jr., secretary; Richard N. Price, chaplain; Tad C. Fithian, senior deacon; Anthony D. Larkin, junior deacon; Robert K. Ellway, senior steward; James A. Patrick Jr., junior steward; Eugene W. Woodworth, tyler; J. Joseph Yaksich, trustee; and James A. Streeky, lodge education officer.
Martin R. Schuller and Jack A. Morgan were installing officers assisted by past masters of the lodge.
A dinner preceded the installation at the Youngstown Masonic Temple.
The installation marked the lodge's first event at its new temple on Tod Avenue. The temple will be officially opened at dedication ceremonies to be conducted April 20 by the Grand Lodge of Ohio led by Thomas E. Reynolds, grand master of Masons in Ohio.
