BOARDMAN -- Tami Lyn Johnson and Nicholas Ronald Rowe, both of 4853 Westchester Drive, Austintown, were married Dec. 8 during a 2:30 p.m. ceremony solemnized by the Rev. Robert Quaintance at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Township Park.
The bride is a daughter of the late Richard and Regina Johnson, who had lived in Jefferson, S.D., and the groom is a son of Carolyn Rowe, 3823 Westchester Drive, Austintown, and the late Eugene T. Rowe.
A reception was held at The Embassy in Youngstown. The newlyweds have postponed their wedding trip to Hawaii until January and live in Austintown.
The bride attended Youngstown State University and is a department manager at Wal-Mart in Austintown.
The groom, a carpenter with Local 171 of Youngstown and DSV Builders Inc., Warren, graduated as a journeyman carpenter from Ohio Carpenters Northeast Joint Apprenticeship Program in Richfield.
Pearls and sequins adorned the bride's satin gown. It was designed with a V-neckline, leg-of-mutton sleeves and a chapel train that flowed from a bow at the back of the waist.
Hunter green gowns were worn by the bride's sister and honor attendant, Toni Johnson, and the bridesmaids, Jane Naill, a sister of the groom; Mary Ann O'Leary, and Kelly States. Flower girl was the bride's niece, Kelsey McGuire.
Daniel Jacobson served as best man, and groomsmen were Phillip and Paul Rowe, brothers of the groom, and Michael Kish. The bride's nephew, Patrick McGuire, was ring bearer.
