POLAND -- A reception was held Nov. 3 at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman in honor of Brent Christopher Racer, 5816 Godown Road, Columbus, and his bride, the former Stacy Lee Berman, 712 Mapleridge Drive, Boardman, following their wedding at New Life Assembly of God.
The Rev. Duane Bull officiated at 2:30 p.m. for the daughter of Stephen and Barbara Berman, of the Boardman address, and the son of David and Sandi Racer, 12099 Road 12H, Ottawa, Ohio.
After a honeymoon in Hawaii, they live at the groom's address.
The bride's strapless white satin gown was enhanced with bugle beads, and the skirt swept into a chapel train.
Navy blue gowns were worn by the honor attendants, Julie Hegnauer and Maria Abrahamson, and the bridesmaids, Maureen Kushma, Barb Mattis, Mary Anne Bayat, Brandy Combs, Cherie Fillinger and Julie Kurtz. Junior bridesmaid was Brianne Racer.
Chip Racer and Michael Maistros were best men, and groomsmen were Greg Hohenbrink, John Gerlach, Scott Charlton, William Turoczy, Shannon Fillinger and Joshua Berman. Ring bearers were Bradley and Eric Racer and Isaac Fillinger.
Also participating were Lisa Racer, Joseph Barak and Clint Condron.
The bride, who earned a bachelor's degree in communications at Ohio University at Athens, is employed at Children's World in Dublin. Prior to her marriage she was a reporter with WYTV Channel 33.
The groom holds a bachelor's and a master's degree in architecture from OSU and is an architect with Ford and Associates Architects in Columbus.
