BOARDMAN -- The exchange of nuptial vows took place during a 3 p.m. ceremony Nov. 9 as Jennifer L. Wilson and Gregory P. Gurnak Jr., both of 9382 South Ave., Poland, were united in marriage by the Rev. Norman E. Crewson at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Township Park.
The couple accepted congratulations during a reception at Antone's Banquet Centre.
The couple have postponed their wedding trip to Las Vegas until January and live at the Poland address.
Parents of the bride are Barbara and Harvey Wilson, 12537 Beard Road, New Springfield. She is employed by the Department of Treasury in Akron and is pursuing a degree in business/finance at Youngstown State University.
The groom is a son of Phyllis Nuzzie, 500 Milton Commons Blvd., Lake Milton, and the late Gregory P. Gurnak. He is employed at Elliott's Garden Center and is attending YSU.
The strapless A-line ivory satin gown worn by the bride was enhanced with pearls and gold trimming.
Wine-colored gowns were worn by Becky Rupert, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Christina Gurnak, a sister of the groom, and Michelle Wilson, the bride's sister.
The duties of best man were performed by Rudy Braydich, and serving as groomsmen were Dave Braydich and Zak Cucultch. Guests were ushered by the groom's cousins, Jeff and Chris Varley.
