Navy reservist charged with drug abuse

YOUNGSTOWN -- A Navy reservist from Lisbon who will go on active duty in January was arrested on the city's South Side Thursday evening after police found suspected crack cocaine and a glass crack pipe on him, reports show.
Raymond Crosser Jr., 36, of North Beaver Street was charged with felony drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arraigned Friday in municipal court.
Police said they saw a pickup truck drop off Crosser at a house on West Evergreen Avenue Side about 7:30 p.m. then circle back several times.
Officers said that when they questioned Crosser as he left the house, he pulled rocks of suspected crack and the crack pipe out of his jacket and tossed them on the grass.
