XStruthers K. of C. Ladies will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday for a Christmas party at the Blue Wolf in Struthers. Hostesses will be Clara Andrews, Mary Hudoba and Eleanore Timko. Members are asked to take gifts for Birthright.
XStruthers VFW Post 3538 Auxiliary will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the post. Annual dues for 2002 are now payable.

XGirard Junior Women will hold its Christmas party at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Leo's Ristorante, Howland. A $10 gift exchange and the monthly basket raffle will be held. Members are to take January items for the basket raffle, the theme for which will be hot teas, hot chocolate, cookies or snacks. Members are being called for reservations.
XMonday Book Review Club will meet at noon Monday at the Youngstown Club with Charlotte Wynn as hostess. Barbara Armstrong will review the book "Skipping Christmas" by John Grisham.

Dinner is set for Dec. 14 at Lakefront Restaurant to be followed by a car pool to the light display at the Canfield Fairgrounds.
XSingle For Any Reason members will meet at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Niles Moose Lodge. They also will attend the D.A.R.E. dance at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Dinner at the Elks Club is planned for 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, and dinner also is set for 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Asian Gardens. Dec. 14 is the deadline to sign up for the cookie exchange.
