Stripper performs at Spears' party

Stripper performsat Spears' party
NEW YORK -- Not surprisingly, there was much dancing at Britney Spears' 20th birthday party Sunday night.
However, the gyrating hips didn't belong to the virginal pop princess, but to a male stripper, reports People magazine.
The performance took place at Solaia, an Italian restaurant in Englewood, N.J., after Britney's concert at Continental Airlines Arena. As stripper Steven Peters did his bumps and grinds, Britney's parents and 10-year-old sister Jamie Lynn looked on.
Peters said Spears giggled and blushed her way through his routine, while her mother, Jamie, enjoyed it so much that she reached out and touched the beefcake's biceps and buttocks.
"Britney was blushing and had a big smile on her face the whole time," Peters said. "She told me, 'This is the best birthday present I've ever gotten!'"
Spears reportedly spent most of her party unwrapping gifts, 11 of which came from boyfriend Justin Timberlake, who was unable to attend because his group, *NSync, was rehearsing in Las Vegas for the Billboard Music Awards.
"She talked to Justin on the phone while she was unwrapping his presents," said Solaia owner Michel Bittan.
"He gave her some beautiful Baccarat crystal glasses, a baby-blue teddy bear and some silver candelabras."
No word on who gave Britney the stripper.
Burnett remarries
LOS ANGELES -- Carol Burnett is spending time these days with new husband Brian Miller.
Burnett, 68, married Miller last month during a hush-hush ceremony. The couple appeared together last week at the Kennedy Center Honors in Washington. Burnett publicist Deborah Kelman said Tuesday that the wedding date and details were being kept private.
It's the third marriage for Burnett, who has three daughters with ex-husband Joe Hamilton, including actress Carrie Hamilton.
Miller, whose age wasn't disclosed by Kelman, is a percussionist who plays with the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra and the Pantages Theatre Orchestra.
Burnett scored a ratings hit with her Nov. 26 CBS-TV special "The Carol Burnett Show: Show Stoppers." It drew almost 30 million viewers.
The retrospective featured vintage outtakes as well as newly taped reminiscences by Burnett, Harvey Korman, Tim Conway and Vicki Lawrence.
Who's the fatherof Hurley's baby?
LOS ANGELES -- Maybe it's Hugh Grant after all! The father of Elizabeth Hurley's unborn baby -- so identified by Hurley herself -- is now contending that maybe he isn't the father after all.
Millionaire film producer Steve Bing said in a statement Tuesday that he's not sure the baby is his.
"Miss Hurley and I were not in an exclusive relationship when she became pregnant," he said.
"It is her choice to be a single mother."
Hurley, an Estee Lauder cosmetics spokesmodel and co-star of the Austin Powers movies, said she was "deeply distraught" by Bing's remarks that he had not been in an "exclusive relationship."
"This was the first I had heard of this and the implications are very painful, especially as I am shortly to give birth to his child," she said in a written statement.
"I loved Stephen enormously during the 18 months we were together.
"I was completely loyal and faithful to Stephen throughout this time as, indeed, he assured me he was to me," she added.
Bing dismissed tabloid speculation that he planned to abandon the 36-year-old model-actress and the child, due in April.
His publicist said she didn't know whether he would seek a paternity test.
"The insinuation that I would not care about the well-being of another human being has been very hurtful to both myself and my family," Bing said. "If indeed I am the father, I will be an extremely involved and responsible parent."
Bing is a former writer for the sitcom "Married ... With Children" and producer of films including last year's "Get Carter."
The original comedy-variety series ran on CBS from 1967 to 1978.
