POLAND
Trustees passed these items at their regular meeting Tuesday:
U & raquo;Payment of $2,650 to Mashburn Tree Service of Struthers for the removal of about 20 trees throughout the township.
U & raquo;Payment of tuition in the amount of $1,400 to Law Enforcement Foundation Inc. for Sgt. Brian Goodin at the Police Executive Leadership College in Columbus.
U & raquo;Purchase of three 2002 Ford Police Interceptors from Planet Ford Inc. of Centerville, to be used as cruisers, at a cost not to exceed $59,180.
U & raquo;Purchase of one traffic trailer for speed monitoring by officers from Relco Sales Inc. of Solon for $9,995. A grant from the Ohio Department of Public Safety paid for $5,000 of the cost.
