NOV. 26
Mail Theft: A resident of the 400 block of Millbrook Street reported 21 checks mailed from his personal checking account and 15 checks mailed from his corporate account at the Canfield Post Office, 44 N. Broad Street, on Oct. 13 had not cleared his account.
Theft of mail: A woman who resides in the 700 block of Tryaltan Lane reported she had mailed 11 to 12 pieces of mail, payments totaling $1,623 on nine accounts, at the Canfield Post Office, and they never reached their destination.
Nov. 27
Theft of mail: Five letters containing checks were reported mailed at the Canfield Post Office and not received at their intended destination.
Mail theft: A resident of the 500 block of Shadydale Drive reported mailing several letters containing eight checks for bills at the Canfield Post Office which were not received.
Theft of mail: Four letters containing checks for bills were reported mailed at the Canfield Post office by a resident of the 300 block of Starwick Drive.
Missing mail: A resident reported that six payments which had been mailed at the Canfield Post Office on Oct. 26 were missing.
Theft of mail: A resident of the 11000 block of Berlin Station Road, Berlin Center, reported mailing three checks for bills out of the Canfield Post office, which were not received.
Nov. 28
Fraud: A resident of the 40 block of Hilltop Boulevard reported mail was stolen to pay a bill for more than $1,000. A credit card company contacted the owner that three purchases had been put on the credit card that were not authorized by its owner. The card account was closed, as was the bank account where the check was drafted.
Theft: A Goshen Road, Salem, woman reported her purse had been stolen two weeks ago containing identification, bank statements and $100 to $150 in cash. She said she left she purse at a friend's residence at the El Patio Motel, and the friend contends she cannot find the purse.
Theft: Groceries and a purse were reported stolen out of a woman's car parked at Yeager Sparkle Market, 8 N. Broad Street. The woman reported $31 in groceries were stolen and her purse with credit cards, ATM cards and blank checks.
Missing mail: Two letters containing bill payments by check as well as other items mailed from the Canfield Post Office by a resident of the 200 block of Sleepy Hollow Drive were reported missing.
Thefts: Payments were mailed by an East Main Street resident but were not received; and a charge was made to a cellular phone bill by someone other than its owner.
Dec. 1
Possession: A 43-year-old Youngstown man was arrested for possession of marijuana after a traffic stop on East Main Street.

Nov. 25
Criminal damage: Two tires were slashed on each of two vehicles in the parking lot at the Checkered Flag, 6000 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: An undisclosed amount of beer was stolen from True North, 3670 S. Meridian Road.
Criminal damage: Numerous scratches and dents were found on two vehicles at the Babylon, 114 Javitt Court.
Theft: A savings book and currency were reported stolen from a residence in the 4000 block of Norquest Boulevard.
Criminal damage: A gas pump was damaged by a customer at Speedway, state Route 46.
Theft: Gasoline was reported stolen from the BP gas station, 890 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Auto theft: A 1987 Buick LeSabre was reported stolen from the 1700 block of South Raccoon Road.
Auto Theft: A 1995 Buick Century was stolen from the parking lot at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.
Theft from Auto: A Pioneer amplifier and $120 in cash were stolen from a vehicle at Regal Cinema, 6020 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A woman was issued a summons for her arrest in the theft of an air freshener, body wash and deodorant at IGA, 4477 Mahoning Ave.
Theft from auto: A Pioneer in-dash stereo was reported stolen from a vehicle at Wedgewood Lanes, 1741 S. Raccoon Road.

Theft from Auto: 100 gallons of fuel were reported stolen from a vehicle at the TA Travel Center, Seventy-Six Drive.
Theft: A woman's gold ring was reported stolen from the residential 4000 block of Burgett Lane.
Theft: A Motorola cell phone was reported stolen at the Ice House Inn, 5516 W. Webb Road.
Criminal damage: Paint damage to a vehicle was reported at Interstate 680 and Lanterman Road.
Criminal damage: Christmas decorations were damaged in the residential 2000 block of Frostwood Drive.

Auto theft: A 1989 Black Jeep Cherokee was stolen from the residential 1000 block of Paisley Street.
Theft: Jewelry was reported stolen from a residence in the 3000 block of Cannon Road.
Theft: A computer system was reported stolen from a residence in the 6000 block of Kirk Road.
Theft: Fuel was reported taken from Pilot gas station, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: Three cartons of cigarettes were reported stolen from Sheetz Gas Station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A Salvation Army collection kettle was stolen from IGA grocery store, 4477 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A gasoline drive-off was reported at the Shell gas station, 4200 Mahoning Ave.
Nov. 29
Theft: Six DVDs were stolen from Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Auto theft: A 1974 Chevrolet Blazer was stolen from a residence in the 400 block of South Raccoon Road.
Auto theft: A 1999 Chevrolet Suburban was reported stolen from Greenwood Chevrolet, 4695 Mahoning.
Theft from Auto: A cell phone was reported stolen from a vehicle in the residential 30 block of S. Yorkshire Boulevard.
Attempted auto theft: The steering column was peeled from a vehicle, but suspects fled in another vehicle at Trumbull Supply, 1040 N. Meridian Road.
Auto theft: A 1987 Buick four-door vehicle was stolen from Track Time, 1104 N. Meridian Road.
Burglary: A south door was pried open, but it is undetermined if any property was taken from a residence in the 1000 block of South Turner Road.

Theft: A man was arrested on theft charges at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning.
Theft: A man was arrested in a theft at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning.
Criminal damage: A vehicle was damaged by paint thrown on the road from a bridge at Interstate 680 at the Lanterman Road bridge.
Theft: Two compact discs were stolen from Kmart.
Burglary: $100 in quarters was reported stolen from a residence in the 3000 block of Edinburgh Drive.

Auto theft: A 1995 Buick Century was reported stolen from Wedgewood Lanes, 1741 S. Raccoon Road.
Auto theft: A 1990 Oldsmobile 98 was reported stolen from Wal-Mart.
Criminal Damage: A vehicle was damaged in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.
