AUSTINTOWN -- Township police picked up a 4-year-old boy and his 5-year-old brother who were walking in their pajamas along North Four Mile Run Road early today.
Police reported that a woman who had seen the boys on Forest Hill Drive near Mahoning Avenue called police at about 5:20 a.m.
When police picked up the boys, they said they were walking to their baby sitter's house on Belle Avenue.
Police went there and learned that the boys lived with their father on Cannon Road. There, the boys' 8- and 11-year-old sisters answered the door and told police their father was sleeping.
The father said the boys, who had learned to unlock the door, had sneaked out of the home.
