Williamses are honored for 50th at dinner dance



YOUNGSTOWN -- Mr. and Mrs. McCullough Williams Jr. of 1853 Fifth Ave. were honored Dec. 1 at a formal dinner dance at the Holiday Inn in Boardman on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary.
Invitations for the observance were extended by the couple's children, Atty. McCullough Williams III of Columbus, Sterling A. Williams of Warren and Crystal Ann Williams-Costa of Akron.
Mr. Williams and the former Juanita Fleming were married Dec. 2, 1951, at Third Baptist Church. He is the founder of Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Homes and has been honored for his 50 years as a licensed funeral professional by the Ohio Funeral Directors Association. He is former president of the Ohio Board of Embalmers & amp; Funeral Directors and is a national parliamentarian. He is a member of Centenary United Methodist Church.
His wife is a retired investment counselor for Home Savings & amp; Loan Co. She serves as a trustee for The Butler Institute of American Art and is secretary of the Youngstown Symphony Guild. She is a charter member of the Junior Civic League and Fidelis Club and belongs to Third Baptist Church.
