VICKI KNAPPMARC RUMBAUGH
SAGAMORE HILLS -- Vicki Lynn Knapp of Akron and Marc Robert Rumbaugh of 57 Centennial Drive, Poland, were married at 4:30 p.m. Oct. 27 at Brandywine Resorts.
Judge Elinore Marsh Stormer officiated for the daughter of Henry and Linda Knapp of Akron and the son of Robert Rumbaugh of the Centennial Drive address and the late Susan Rumbaugh.
A reception followed at the resort, and the couple spent their honeymoon in Cancun, Mexico.
They are living in the Akron area.
The bride's gown of matte satin and French tulle was designed with an off-the-shoulder scoop neckline and fitted bodice, and was enhanced with Alencon lace, pearls and sequins. The gathered tulle skirt fell to a chapel train.
Matron of honor was Ruth Peters-Freeman, and the bride's sister, Lori Sias, was bridesmaid. They wore raspberry ice gowns. Junior bridesmaid was Gabrielle Ciotti, and Autumn Sias, the bride's niece, was flower girl.
John Pierog performed the duties of best man, and groomsman was Jim Maruschek.
A graduate of the University of Akron with a bachelor's degree in political science and an associate degree in criminal justice, Mrs. Knapp-Rumbaugh is employed by the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections.
Mr. Rumbaugh holds a bachelor's degree in political science from UA.
