'Potter' film's locations open for visiting fans
Fans who want to follow in the footsteps of Harry Potter can visit English locations where the new movie based on the best-selling book series was shot.
"Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone -- Discovering the Magic of Britain" highlights eight film sites. (The film was released as "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" in Britain and as "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" in the United States.)
They include several buildings in Oxford that doubled as Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Witchery; the London Zoo, where the fictional Harry is said to have learned of his ability to talk to snakes; and London's King's Cross Station, where first-year wizards boarded the Hogwarts Express.
