CANFIELD -- United in marriage by the Rev. Brent Allen during a 2:30 p.m. ceremony Oct. 27 at Old North Church were Marcie Hammar and Kevin Martin, both of Charlotte, N.C.
After a reception at Leo's Ristorante in Howland, the couple left on a wedding trip to Hawaii. They live at 1109 Vine Cliff Lane, Charlotte.
Parents of the bride are Thomas and Diane Hammar, 7881 Indian Trail, Poland, and the groom is a son of Sandy Martin, 17403 Indian St., Redford, Mich., and the late John E. Martin Jr.
The bride wore a strapless silk satin-faced organza gown that featured a jeweled bodice, A-line skirt and a chapel train.
Caviar-colored gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Kelly Evans, and the bridesmaids, Maria Boyarko; Carrie McKenzie, a sister of the groom; Lori Ficcorilli; Michelle Derderian; and Michelle Sebastiani; and the junior bridesmaid, Natalie Passarelli, a cousin of the bride.
Best man was John E. Martin III, the groom's brother, and groomsmen were Mike Hammar, the bride's brother; Andy McKenzie, the groom's brother-in-law; Tony Cuchta, his cousin; Jason Goodrich; and Doug Price.
The bride earned a bachelor's degree in business at Miami University at Oxford and is a senior accountant in business assurance and advisory with Deloitte and Touche in Charlotte. The groom holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from West Virginia University in Morgantown, W.Va., and is a certified public accountant and management technology consultant with Deloitte and Touche.
