Former area residents to mark 60th anniversary

NAPLES, Fla. -- Mr. and Mrs. Leroy K. Smith, 653 95th Ave. N., will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary during a dinner with friends Dec. 6 in Clearwater, Fla.
They also will celebrate on a Mexican cruise in the spring.
The former Beatrice Winter and Mr. Smith exchanged marriage vows Dec. 6, 1941, at First Christian Church in Youngstown.
Mr. and Mrs. Smith lived in Canfield until 1969 and retired in Reston, Va. They moved to Naples in 1985. Both graduates of South High School, they regularly attend the Youngstown Day held for former residents in Florida.
