YOUNGSTOWN -- Annett Knorr and Louis C. McDavid Jr., both of Boston, were married at 1 p.m. Nov. 24 at Himrod Avenue Church of God.
The bride is a daughter of Roland and Monika Knorr of Waldheim, Germany. Mr. McDavid is a son of Emma McDavid, 2442 Rosewood Ave., and the late Louis McDavid Sr.
The groom's cousin, the Rev. Judy Eiland, officiated, and a reception took place at the Holiday Inn MetroPlex Centre in Liberty.
After a honeymoon trip to San Francisco, the couple are living in Boston.
Matron of honor was Irmy Matschke, and bridesmaids were Emma Franklin and Joi Thornton. They wore ivory lace gowns. Flower girl was Briana McDavid. Honorary maid of honor was Chalyse McDavid, and honorary matron of honor was Michelle McDavid.
John Binion was best man, and groomsmen were Frank Alston Jr. and David Alston. Ushers were Bryan Alston and John Parker, and ring bearer was Thaylen McDavid. Honorary best men were Christopher McDavid and Louis McDavid III.
A graduate of Leipzig University, Leipzig, Germany, Mrs. McDavid holds a bachelor's degree in languages and is a sales consultant with Mary Kay Cosmetics.
Her husband earned a bachelor's degree at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland and a master's in business administration at Bryant College in Smithfield, R.I. He is a vice president of Picom Software Systems of Tel Aviv, Israel. He also served in the U.S. Army.
