NORTHWOOD -- The exchange of nuptial vows took place at 2:30 p.m. Aug. 4 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church as Sarah N. Raider, 123 Windsor Drive, Rossford, and John J. Dankert, 10420 Cliffwood Drive, Perrysburg, were united in marriage by the Rev. Beth Huener .
A reception was held afterward at the American Legion Hall in Perrysburg.
The couple live at 1693 Miami St., Toledo.
The bride is a daughter of Craig Raider, Miami Street, Toledo, and Connie and Jeff Hodak, of the Windsor Drive address, and the groom is a son of Cindy Dankert of the Perrysburg address, formerly of Youngstown, and the late Floyd Dankert.
The bride's white satin gown featured a beaded bodice, short sleeves and a cathedral train.
Red-trimmed white gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Danielle Cottrell, the bride's cousin, and the bridesmaids, Nikki and Kathy Dankert, sisters of the groom; Michelle Evers; and Amy Koperski. Flower girl was the groom's daughter, Cassidy Dankert.
Serving as best man was Aaron Drill, and groomsmen were Adam and Brian Raider, the bride's brothers; Douglas Rhodes; and Danny Dankert, brother of the groom. The bride's brother, Jeffrey Hodak II, was ring bearer.
The bride is a customer-service representative with Sleep Inn in Oregon, Ohio, and the groom is an engineer with AB and D Construction in Hudson, Mich.
