MANDI CALVEDON MITCHELL
STRUTHERS -- Mandi J. Calve, a daughter of Richard and JoAnn Calve, 6750 Applewood Blvd., Boardman, and Don D. Mitchell, a son of Donald and Donna Mitchell, 761 Sable Court, Boardman, were united in marriage July 27 at St. Nicholas Church.
The Rev. Gus Coccarelli presided at the 2 p.m. ceremony, and the couple accepted congratulations during a reception at The Georgetown, Boardman
After spending their honeymoon at Orlando and Daytona, Fla., they live in Canfield.
Fashioned with a halter-style beaded bodice, the bride's gown featured a layered tulle skirt. Her veil was gathered to a jeweled tiara, and she held a bouquet of white roses.
Antique gold gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Stacy Slaven, and the bridesmaids, Kimberly Gonda, Gina Mitchell, Terra Caswell, Patty Stanislaw, Danitra Liguore, Jenn McLaughlin and Megan Thomas. Flower girls were Alexa Granitto and Britni Bartolomucci.
Serving as best man was Matt Schwartz, and groomsmen were Rich Calve, Ken Mitchell, John Gonda, Jason Jamieson, Ron Joseph, Kevin Odom and Ted Cisine. Ring bearer was Jacob Granitto.
The bride graduated magna cum laude from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in education and is a first-grade teacher at St. Brendan School, Youngstown.
A service adviser with Fred Martin Ford in Austintown, the groom attended YSU.
