BOARDMAN -- St. James Meeting House in Boardman Township Park was the setting as Kate Andrea Huffman of Hubbard became the bride of Brian Michael Groscost, also of Hubbard, during a ceremony at 1:30 p.m. July 28.
The Rev. Vernon Palo officiated for the daughter of Bonnie Huffman of Hubbard and the son of Jane and Jack Trobeck and Dave Groscost, all of Hubbard. The newlyweds were honored during a reception at the Brentford House in Hubbard.
Mrs. Groscost is a nail technician at J.C. Penney at the Eastwood Mall in Niles. The groom is a laborer at Exal Corp. in Youngstown.
Beadwork decorated the bodice of the bride's white satin gown styled with a cathedral train that was accented by pearls and sequins.
The honor attendant was Meshell Osborn of Orwell. Bridesmaids were Stephanie Groscost of Girard and Christine Groscost of Sharpsville, Pa., the groom's sisters-in-law, and Megan Sablack of Bedford, Texas, his cousin. They wore burgundy dresses. Junior bridesmaid was Annie Davis of Roswell, Ga., the bride's cousin, and flower girls were Kaitlin Groscost of Girard and Sara Groscost of Sharpsville, his nieces.
Serving as best man was James Murphy of Hubbard. Groomsmen were Christopher Groscost of Girard and Rick Groscost of Sharpsville, the groom's brothers, and Eric Ginn of Masury. Junior groomsman was Christopher Groscost of Sharpsville, his nephew, and ring bearer was Parker Davis of Roswell, the bride's cousin.
