LAKEWOOD -- Karen DeNiro, daughter of Michael and Ida DeNiro, 7405 Hitchcock Road, Boardman, and Tim Devine, son of Noreen Devine of Berea, were married at 2 p.m. July 28 at St. James Church.
The Rev. Tom Behrend officiated, and a reception was held at Four Points by Sheraton in Independence. The couple spent their honeymoon in Hawaii and are living at 1440 Alameda Ave.
Fashioned of matte satin and Venise lace, the bride's gown featured a wide scoop neckline edged with beading. The bodice was trimmed with Venise lace appliques, and the princess-style skirt flowed to a chapel train.
Terri DeNiro was maid of honor for her sister, and bridesmaids were Christl DeNiro, the bride's sister-in-law; Tanutda Devine, the groom's sister-in-law; Allison Seda, his sister; Sheri Smith, her cousin; Nicole Damico; and Veronica Gregory. They wore periwinkle gowns.
Best man was the groom's brother, Dennis Devine, and groomsmen were Todd Seda, the groom's brother-in-law; Kimo and Andy DeNiro, the bride's brothers; Mark Steigerwald; and Sean Conroy. Ring bearers were Rocco and Carlo DeNiro, her nephews.
Mrs. Devine graduated from John Carroll University with a bachelor's degree in business administration. She is a client-service supervisor for Spherion Corp. in Cleveland. Her husband holds a master's in business administration from Case Western Reserve University and is senior project manager and assistant vice president of National City Corp. in Cleveland.
