POLAND -- The marriage of Carolyn L. Campbell and Thomas J. Styranec, both of Midland, Mich., was solemnized by Monsignor William Connell at 2 p.m. Aug. 4 at Holy Family Church.
After a reception at The Georgetown in Boardman, the couple left on a wedding trip to Los Cabos, Mexico. They live in Midland.
Parents of the bride are Charles and Carol Campbell, 6324 Tara Drive, and the groom is a son of Stephen and Marcia Styranec, 2502 Country Lane.
The bride's ivory Italian satin gown was enhanced with gold embroidery and featured a corset-style bodice and cathedral train.
Butter-colored gowns were worn by honor attendant Christy Carbone, the bride's cousin; the bridesmaids, Melissa Macchio, Julie Gapski and Karen Tesionowski; and the junior bridesmaid, Samantha Olenick, the bride's cousin and godchild. Flower girls were her cousins, Alexis and Torri Olenick.
Serving as best men were the groom's brothers, Timothy and Stephen Styranec, and groomsmen were Ryan Channell, Mark Kren and Randall Voytilla. The ring bearer was the bride's cousin, Vincent Olenick.
The bride, a customer-service representative with Electronic Data Systems in Flint, Mich., graduated from Bowling Green State University with a bachelor's degree in political science.
The groom earned a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering at Youngstown State University and a master's at the University of Pittsburgh. He is a chemical engineer with Dow Chemical Co. in Midland.
