Toth's gardens blossom with interest

HUBBARD -- Rodney Toth will hold an open house at his gardens, 5637 W. Liberty St., from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 2.
The major gardens feature dahlias, vegetables, annuals and perennials. A 40-foot gourd arbor also may be viewed. Also of interest will be the cardinal vine, hyacinth bean, Mount Fuji, Heavenly Blue Morning Glory, trellised grape tomatoes and hanging plants. A new feature will be the six-slice pizza garden.
He is a member of the Men's Garden Club of Youngstown, the East Liverpool Dahlia Society and the Dahlia Society of Ohio.
Entertainment will be provided from 2 to 3 p.m. by Tony and Debbie Harding.
