Nagys honored at buffet dinner for 50th jubilee

YOUNGSTOWN -- Mr. and Mrs. William Nagy of 2456 Redgate Lane were honored Aug. 19 at a buffet reception at St. George Byzantine Church in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary.
Hosts for the observance were the couple's children and their spouses, Barbara Nagy, Susan and Richard Kempe, and Janet and Bill Booth, all of Austintown.
The couple also celebrated the occasion on a cruise to Australia, Bali and Singapore.
Eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren complete their family.
Mr. Nagy and the former JoAnn Mitchoff were married Sept. 1, 1951, at St. George Byzantine Church, where they are members. He retired in 1991 from Packard Electric Wire Mill and the GF Warehouse. He also served in the U.S. Army.
His wife retired in 1995 from Bank One, where she worked in collections.
