AUSTINTOWN -- Spending their honeymoon in Hawaii are Bryan Garchar and his bride, the former Lorraine Rusu, both of 6851 Berry Blossom Drive, Canfield, following their Aug. 25 wedding at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.
The Rev. Stephen Popovich officiated at the 1 p.m. ceremony, and a reception followed at the Maronite Center, Youngstown.
The bride is a daughter of Denise Rusu, 632 Devitt Ave., Campbell, and the late David Rusu Jr. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Garchar, 6917 Slippery Rock Drive, Canfield.
A dental assistant, the bride is employed by Drs. Raymond Lev, Gerhard Berberich and Paul Stabile in Canfield.
Mr. Garchar graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. He is an engineer at General Motors Corp., Lordstown.
The bride's white matte satin gown was trimmed with pearled and sequined Alencon lace and featured a portrait collar, V-neckline, A-line skirt and royal-length train.
The bride's sister, Jennifer Coy, was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Lisa Davis, the groom's cousin; Amy Garchar, his sister; Cris Gillian; Elizabeth Hunt; Amy Lenhart; and Tracy Lombardo. They wore periwinkle dresses. Flower girl was Nicholette Kreatsoulas, his cousin.
Michael Gillian served as best man. Groomsmen were Mark Evan and Jeff Davis, the groom's cousins; Tim Coy, the bride's brother-in-law; Craig Theis; Vince Conglose; and Bill Schuler. Ring bearer was Danny Duran, her cousin.
