Tasks people like least
Zep, which makes a whole line of cleaning products including organic citrus drain cleaner and other citrus-based cleaning products, commissioned a survey to find out what cleaning tasks people like the least. Here's what the survey, by Yankelovich Partners, found:
Three in 10 people say scrubbing the toilet is the job they dread most.
Twenty-eight percent detest oven cleaning.
Fourteen percent don't like to clean windows and mirrors.
The first thing people do in the spring is clean the inside and outside of their windows.
About 22 percent tackle the kitchen first in spring, while 14 percent clean carpets and 10 percent mop floors.
Two in five of those surveyed spend four or more hours a week cleaning their houses.
One-third spend between two and four hours, while 20 percent spend less than two hours cleaning house.
