Fox to broadcast area football games

YOUNGSTOWN -- Fox 17/62 will present the High School Football Game of the Week.
The first game, Springfield at Poland, will be broadcast on Fox 17/62 at 11:30 p.m.
Each Friday night and selected Saturdays, Fox 17/62 will televise a top high school game in the area. Saturday games will be be televised at midnight.
An added twist will be a web poll on wyfx.com and wkbn.com, allowing fans to select the game of the week.
Sports director Robb Schmidt will do the play-by-play. He will be joined in the booth by Vindicator sports editor Rob Todor and former Brookfield High coach Ron Iarussi.
