Tyler Wimberly, David Mellon plan fall wedding to be held in Alabama

CARY, N.C. -- The engagement of Tyler Anne Wimberly and David Roy Mellon, both of 1118 Harbor Pointe Parkway, Atlanta, is being announced by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John A. Mellon of Cary, formerly of Canfield.
Parents of the bride-elect are Mr. and Mrs. William E. Smith, 4346 Cliff Road, Birmingham, Ala., and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur N. Wimberly, 4013 Kinross Lane, Birmingham.
Miss Wimberly graduated from Birmingham-Southern College with a bachelor's degree in psychology and received her juris doctorate from Cumberland School of Law, both in Birmingham.
Mr. Mellon, an associate with Drew, Eckl and Farnham in Atlanta, holds a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind., and his juris doctorate from Cumberland School of Law.
The couple will extend invitations for their Nov. 3 wedding to take place at 6:30 p.m. at Reid Chapel at Samford University and for their reception at the Carraway Conference Center, both in Birmingham.
