Head-on crash kills one, injures three

JAMESTOWN, Pa. -- One woman was killed and three others seriously injured in a two-car crash on Gibson Road at 9:30 p.m. Monday.
Pennsylvania State Police said Deborah L. Wolf, 45, of Footville-Richmond Road, Jefferson, Ohio, was fatally injured when a car being driven by Rodney R. Wolf of the same address collided head-on with a car driven by David J. Homer, 36, of Orangeville Road, Greenville.
Police said Homer was eastbound at a high rate of speed and failed to make a bend to the right, crossed the center line and collided with the Wolfs' westbound car.
Deborah Wolf was pronounced dead at UPMC Horizon in Greenville by Scott Black, Mercer County deputy coroner. Wolf, Homer and a passenger in Homer's car, Helen Y. Homer, 30, of Maysville Road, Transfer, were all admitted to UPMC Horizon in critical condition. Police said charges are pending against David Homer.
