The Clements mark 50 years of marriage
YOUNGSTOWN -- Mr. and Mrs. Frank Clement, 3511 Breeze Knoll Drive, were the guests of honor during a celebration Aug. 18 at St. Mark Center that marked their 50th wedding anniversary.
Invitations for the event were issued by the couple's sons and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Clement Jr. of Dayton and Anthony Clement of Vail, Colo.
The former Carmela Ignazio and Mr. Clement exchanged marriage vows Aug. 11, 1951, at St. Anthony Church.
Retiring in 1985, Mrs. Clement was an elementary school principal employed by Girard Board of Education. She is a member of the Garden Forum of Greater Youngstown and Mahoning and Trumbull County Retired Teachers Association.
Mr. Clement was an electric welder at General American Transportation Corp. in Masury and retired in 1985. He is a member of several golf leagues. Mr. Clement served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Mr. and Mrs. Clement are members of St. Edward Church and Girard Senior Citizens.
The family includes twin granddaughters.
