Leones to mark 50th anniversary during reception

BOARDMAN -- A dinner reception was held at 4 p.m. Aug. 12 at The Georgetown in celebration of the 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. John Leone, 772 Oakridge Drive.
Invitations for the festivities were extended by the couple's family, Mr. and Mrs. James Rendinell of Chagrin Falls, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Leone of Portage, Mich., and Mr. and Mrs. Denio Leone of Rocky River. The couple have 10 grandchildren.
Mrs. Leone, the former Ersilia Pezzuti, retired in 1985 after being employed in the cafeteria at Boardman High School.
Mr. Leone, who served with radar operations with the U.S. Army, retired in 1975 from Republic Steel Co. in Youngstown, where he was employed in the open hearth division.
Married on Aug. 15, 1951, at Villa St. Angelo, Aquila, Abruzo, Italy, the Leones are members of St. Luke Catholic Church.
