BOARDMAN -- A honeymoon in Alaska followed the wedding of Jill Michele Juhasz and John M. Spano, both of 815 Frost Road, on July 28 at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Township Park.
The Rev. Norman Crewson presided at the 5 p.m. ceremony, and a reception was held in the ballroom at the Holiday Inn.
Parents of the bride are Karen and Ronald VonKaenel, 6137 Columbia Road N.W., Dover, and Michael J. Juhasz of Getzville, N.Y. The groom's parents are John and Barbara Spano, 3036 Lee Lynn Court, Poland.
The bride's off-the-shoulder-style A-line gown was embellished with pearls and floral embroidery.
Light blue gowns were worn by the honor attendants, Anna Lee and the bride's sister, Tracy Matras, and the bridesmaids, Kim Vivacqua, a sister of the groom; Jill Jennings; and Mia Adreani. Junior bridesmaid was the bride's niece, Michele Matras.
Serving as best man was Adam Yeloushan, and groomsmen were James Vivacqua, the groom's brother-in-law; Jeff and Michael Juhasz, brothers of the bride; and Doug Walker.
The bride, a teacher at The Hathaway Brown School in Shaker Heights, earned a bachelor's degree at Smith College in Northampton, Mass., and a master's at Northeastern University in Boston.
The groom graduated from John Carroll University, Cleveland, with bachelor's and master's degrees. He is a teacher at Cuyahoga Valley Career Center in Brecksville.
The couple live in Streetsboro.
