Anniversary open house set for the Blossers

COLUMBIANA -- Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Blosser, 642 Meadow Place, will be honored by friends and relatives as they celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary during an open house reception to be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 28 at Vista Center in Lisbon.
Serving as hosts for the event will be the couple's family, Roger and Heidi Blosser of Lisbon, Tom and Mary Blosser of Columbus and Nick and Mindy Blosser of Johnson City, Tenn. Also participating will be their seven grandchildren.
The former Mildred Grate and Mr. Blosser were united in marriage Aug. 24, 1951, at the Lisbon Church of the Nazarene. They are members of Columbiana Church of the Nazarene.
Mrs. Blosser, a homemaker, has been a hospital volunteer for 24 years and is a part-time secretary at their church.
Mr. Blosser retired after 38 years of service at NRM Corp. in Columbiana, where he was a mechanical engineer.
