BOARDMAN -- Amanda M. Stone, daughter of Randy and Theresa Stone, all of Struthers, became the bride of Arthur S. Burnett Jr., son of Arthur and Joyce Burnett, all of Boardman, during a ceremony at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 11 at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Township Park.
The Rev. Norman Crewson officiated.
The newlyweds accepted congratulations during a reception at The Embassy in Youngstown.
Mrs. Burnett is attending Youngstown State University. Mr. Burnett is a pipefitter with Plumbers and Fitters Union Local 296 in Youngstown. They live in Struthers.
The bride's gown was styled with a high collar, beaded bodice and tulle skirt with a chapel-length train. A beaded tiara held her chapel-length veil.
Nicole Hoard of Boardman, a cousin of the bride, was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Elissa and Sarah Burnett, both of Boardman, the groom's sisters; Renee Norris of Strongsville; Kim Stiver of Austintown; and Tonia Tynee of Columbus. They wore celadon dresses. Flower girls were Elizabeth Tynee of Columbus and Jillian Varner of Bellbrook, the groom's cousin.
Patrick Purton of Struthers, the groom's cousin, performed the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Samuel Sargent of Campbell; Kevin Levin and Donald Whistler Jr., both of Girard; Jason Carson of Liberty; and John Ervin of Boardman. Ring bearers were James Tynee of Columbus and Thomas Varner of Bellbrook, the groom's cousin.
