Aug. 7
Theft: A 48-year-old New Middletown woman was arrested in the theft of $3 worth of items from Giant Eagle.
Aug. 11
Warrant: A 29-year-old Salem man was arrested for driving under suspension and excessive speed and was handed over to Mahoning County on a failure to appear on charges of suspension, hit-skip and failure to control his vehicle.
Aug. 12
Drug paraphernalia: Police arrested a 25-year-old Cortland man on High Street for speeding and charged him with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Criminal damage: A window was shattered in Woodside Elementary School.
Aug. 4
Felonious assault: A person was struck with a beer bottle at Leslie's Lounge, 169 S. Four Mile Run Road.
Auto Theft: A 1984 Chevrolet Camaro was stolen from Ohio Auto Brokers, 565 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Robbery: A purse was snatched from a shopper at J.C. Penney. The suspect fled in a 1980 Chevrolet Celebrity.
Criminal damage: A rear window on a vehicle was broken out in the 4000 block of Winthrop Drive.
Motorcycle theft: A 1989 Honda motorcycle was stolen from a garage in the 200 block of N. Main Street.

Motorcycle theft: A 1992 Harley-Davidson was stolen from the Days Inn, 1051 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Auto Theft: A 1986 GMC was stolen from 5411 Mahoning Avenue.
Theft: A purse was reported stolen at Wal-Mart.
Criminal damage: Metal supports and landscape timbers were damaged and there was paint on the floor at an apartment building in the 4000 block of Washington Square Drive.
Criminal Damage: The driver's side door was scratched on a 1996 Pontiac at Famous Hair, 1698 S. Raccoon Road.
Theft: A male stole 27 packs of cigarettes from Giant Eagle.
Theft: $17.21 worth of gas was stolen from the Shell station, 1704 S. Raccoon Road.
Burglary: Entry to a house was gained through an attached garage in the 2000 block of Sprucewood Drive.
Theft: Two birdfeeders and a dogwood tree were stolen from the rear yard in the 1000 block of Fox Chase.

Theft: A cigarette advertisement sign was stolen from Speedway, 4401 Kirk Road.

Theft: A flower box was stolen from a residence in the 20 block of Westminster Avenue.

Thefts from autos: A CB radio was stolen from a vehicle at Days Inn, 1051 N. Niles-Canfield Road and from one at Super 8 Motel, 5280 Seventy-Six Drive.
Theft: 137 gallons of fuel were stolen from the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.
Theft: Several lawn ornaments were stolen from a residence in the 4000 block of Rita Avenue.
Theft: A 15-inch Huffy 15-speed mountain bike was stolen from the 1000 block of Woodland Trace.
Break-in: A west side window was broken at Davis Elementary School.
Auto theft: A 2000 Pontiac Sunfire was stolen from an apartment building in the 500 block of S. Raccoon Road.

Theft: White metal lawn furniture was stolen from the 5000 bock of Callaway Circle.
Criminal damage: A vehicle was keyed at Hillbrook apartments, 500 S. Raccoon Road.
Theft: A Schwinn Powermatic free-style bicycle was stolen from the 6000 block of Harvest Ridge Drive.

Criminal damaging: A garage was spray-painted in the 200 block of Carnegie Ave.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle was scratched by a sharp object in the 500 block of S. Raccoon Road.
Theft from vehicle: An CD player was stolen in the 1000 block of Fountain Square.
Theft: Wooden signs were stolen from a residence in the 200 block of Roanoke Avenue.
Criminal damaging: Windows were damaged at a residence in the 3000 block of Chaucer Lane.

Weapons offense: A man was arrested for discharging a firearm while intoxicated in the 3000 block of Allendale Avenue.
Theft from auto: Numerous power tools were stolen from a Ford van parked in front of a driveway in the 5000 block of London Drive.
Criminal damaging: Damage was reported to five pine trees at the Austintown Plaza.
Theft from auto: A CD player and CDs were stolen from a vehicle at Austintown Flea Market.
Theft: An Ohio driver's license, Social Security card and debit card were stolen from a wallet of a resident in the 5000 block of N. Beacon Drive.
Burglary: A Mossberg pump shotgun was stolen from a residence in the 100 block of Rosemont Avenue.
