Students get honors
HOWLAND -- The theme for Howland High School's 2002 yearbook, "Fast Forward," won students Shereen Khanuja, Sathyan Gurumurthy and Hope Sherman top honors at the Gettysburg Yearbook Experience, an annual conference in Gettysburg, Pa. First place for beginning design went to another Howland student, Jenna Brucoli.
Homebuyer workshop
YOUNGSTOWN --A free, first-time homebuyer workshop is being offered from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Family Service Agency, 535 Marmion Ave., covers basic homebuying information and satisfies the education requirement for some mortgage programs. To register, call (330) 782-9113.
