YOUNGSTOWN -- A reception at the Brentford House, Hubbard, honored Mr. and Mrs. David Alan Hetmanski who were married by the Rev. Melvin Rusnak at 1:30 p.m. July 14 at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Church. The former Melissa Anne Wirth of Girard and the groom of Hubbard honeymooned on Paradise Island in the Bahamas.
The bride is a daughter of Thomas and Sheryl Wirth of Girard, and the groom is a son of Edward Sr. and Alice Hetmanski of Hubbard.
A lead teacher at Trumbull Community Action Program's Head Start, Warren, Mrs. Hetmanski earned a degree in early childhood technology at Kent State University, Trumbull Branch.
A graduate of the University of Akron with an associate degree in criminal justice, the groom is a sales merchandising manager at the Scotts Co., based in Maryland. He is pursuing a bachelor's degree in industrial marketing at Youngstown State University.
Andrea Mineo was honor attendant and wore a navy dress as did the bridesmaids, Beth Smith, Stacey Neiheisel, Cathy Fultz and Jill Hetmanski, the groom's sister-in-law.
Serving as best man for his brother was Edward Hetmanski Jr. Groomsmen were Thomas Smiley, Gary Thiel, Brian Wukelich and Christopher Wirth, the bride's brother. The groom's nephews, Brandon Nightingale, was a junior usher and Jaret Hetmanski, ring bearer.
Beaded lace accented the bride's white matte satin sheath gown styled with a chapel-length train.
