Married: Her third husband, Comma Lawrence, is deceased. Two other husbands also are deceased.
Background: The youngest of 10 children in the family, she had five sisters and four brothers. They are all deceased. She lived in Massillon and moved to Youngstown in 1932. Mrs. Lawrence was active at Third Baptist Church in Youngstown and was involved in its choir. A domestic worker, she took care of children and did other household work. She enjoyed dancing, sewing and cooking.
Celebration: A get-together was held July 25 at Austin Woods with friends from her church and Austin Woods attending.
