YOUNGSTOWN -- Barbara Gresko, 5855 Haddingtonshire, Dublin, and Shawn R. Olcott, 7859 Holderman, Lewis Center, were married at 2 p.m. Aug. 11 at St. Christine Church. Monsignor David Rhodes and the Rev. John McDonnell officiated.
Parents of the bride are Donald and Margaret Gresko, 6372 E. Harvest Ridge, Austintown, and the groom's parents are Neil and Anita Schoen, 823 Barclay St., Belpre.
After a reception at the D.D. and Velma Davis Education and Visitor Center in Mill Creek Park, the couple left on a wedding trip to Hawaii. They will live at the groom's address.
Embroidery and beading enhanced the bride's strapless silk gown, and she completed her ensemble with a chapel length veil.
Sharon Lawson was the honor attendant, and bridesmaids were Janice Gresko, Leanne Sturm, Angela Reese; and Jennifer Picolo. Flower girl was Reily Sturm.
Best man was Doug Sturm, and groomsmen were Gino Giacomin, Doug Harper, Brad Heilman and Jeff Stewart. Ring bearer was , Payton Sturm, and ushers were Richard Lawson and Scott Thibodeau.
The bride earned an associate degree in respiratory therapy from Youngstown State University and a bachelor's degree in nursing from Otterbein College in Westerville. She is a nurse at Grant Medical Center, Columbus.
The groom, a sales representative with Novartis Pharmaceuticals in Columbus, holds a degree in nursing from Purdue University, West Lafayette, Ind.
