YOUNGSTOWN -- The exchange of nuptial vows took place at 2 p.m. July 7 at St. Christine Church as Tarra Kathleen Alexander and Glendon Edward O'Hara, both of Youngstown, were united in marriage by the Rev. David Rhodes.
The bride is a daughter of the late Kathleen Leone Alexander who had lived in Youngstown. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Thomas O'Hara, Youngstown.
The couple accepted congratulations at the Italian-American Veterans Centre where a reception was held in their honor. After a honeymoon cruise to Mexico, they live in Youngstown.
The bride's white off-the-shoulder style gown was embellished with jeweled Alencon lace appliques and the full tulle skirt extended into a cathedral train that flowed from a cluster of roses at the waistline.
Lilac-colored gowns were worn by the bride's cousin and honor attendant, Jennine Micheline, and the bridesmaids, Jessica Crook; Jennifer Zabloski; Melissa Bernard; Jennifer O'Hara, the groom's sister-in-law; and Shannon O'Hara, his sister. Flower girls were his nieces, Elysabethe O'Hara and Jamiee Willett.
Dennis O'Hara served as best man for his brother, and groomsmen were Tom O'Hara, his brother; John Greco, his cousin; Steve Micheline and Ron Leone,her cousins; and Chris Emerick.
The bride graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in sociology and is employed at First Place Bank in Canfield.
The groom is employed at General Motors in Lordstown.
