XThat Quilt Group I Belong To will meet at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 21 at Fair Park in Canfield. The group, which strives to preserve the tradition of quilting, is open to all.

SERVICE CLUBS
XMcDonald Community Chest will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday in the senior citizens center, post office building.
SINGLES
XSalem Area Singles will meet for euchre at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Butler Grange Hall. A regular meeting is planned at 4 p.m. Aug. 19 at Salem Area Chamber of Commerce building.
XSingle for Any Reason will hold a dance from 7 to 11 p.m. Sunday at the Avalon Inn and Resort, Howland. A massage night is planned from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. XYoungstown Solo Parents and Singles will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at Christ Church Presbyterian, 1933 Canfield Road.
