Group to provide 880 food boxes
YOUNGSTOWN -- Feed the Children, a nonprofit organization that provides aid to needy children and families, will bring 880 food boxes to Union Baptist Church on Lincoln Avenue at 9 a.m. Saturday for pre-qualified individuals and families of Mahoning and Trumbull counties.
Representative from various organizations, including the American Cancer Society, the Sickle Cell Association, the NAACP and the Youngstown fire and police departments, will be available to provide free services and information, such as health screening, safety tips and registration for assistance.
