VICKIE RAE DRESCHER, 36

BOARDMAN -- Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home in Niles for Vickie Rae Drescher, 36, of 21 Shadyside Drive, who died of cancer Friday afternoon in Forum Health Northside Medical Center.
Mrs. Drescher was born Aug. 17, 1964, in Warren, a daughter of Daniel Sr. and Gloria Ambrose Bellew. She lived in Fayetteville, N.C., for eight years and returned to this area in 1999.
She was a registered nurse at Cape Fear Hospital in Fayetteville for eight years and had served in the Army medical corps, achieving the rank of sergeant.
She was a member of New Hope Community Church here and enjoyed cooking, reading, gardening, traveling, sewing and quilting.
She was a 1982 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and received her bachelor's degree in nursing in Fayetteville.
Besides her father of Mineral Ridge and her mother, Gloria Ambrose of Niles, she leaves her husband, Pete, whom she married Sept. 25, 1999; a daughter, Robin Brunner, and a son, Christopher Brunner, both of Boardman; a sister, Jill Bellew of Macon, Ga.; a brother, Daniel Bellew Jr. of Mineral Ridge; and grandparents, Ralph and Margaret Ambrose of Niles.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
