SUE SHAFFER GOLD, 57



NORTH BENTON -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Temple Israel, Canton, for Sue Shaffer Gold, 57, of 588 Eddy Lane, who died Saturday morning of injuries suffered in an automobile accident on I-76.
Mrs. Gold was born Nov. 4, 1943, in Alliance, a daughter of Jesse S. and Viola Eckis Shaffer.
A 1961 graduate of Alliance High School, she attended Kent State University and was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She worked for First National Bank of Alliance and Sports n' Duds in Kent.
She was a member of Marlboro Junior Women's Club and the Marlboro Bicentennial Committee. She was Marlboro Zoning Secretary and had served on its Board of Zoning Appeals. She was a poll watcher for elections and member of Berlin Yacht Club.
Besides her husband, Michael, she leaves two daughters, Rebecca Anderson of Canton and Marjorie Anderson of Elmira, N.Y.; a son, Daniel of Austin, Texas; a brother, Robert Shaffer of Alliance; and two grandchildren.
Two grandchildren are deceased.
