ETHEL M. TOOTHMAN, 85

NEW MIDDLETOWN -- Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Mill Creek Hill Cemetery, Hookstown, Pa., for Ethel M. Toothman, 85, of 110-G Sandy Court, who died Sunday morning in Boardman Community Care Center after a brief illness.
Mrs. Toothman was born Jan. 19, 1916, in Glover Gap, W.Va., a daughter of William and Ella Batson Moore. She moved to California in 1968 and returned to Boardman in 1996.
She had worked for Adkins Nursing Home in East Liverpool and Kmart in California, and was a member of Free Methodist Church here and its women's mission projects.
Her husband, Carris M., whom she married Feb. 16, 1935, died Aug. 18, 1999.
She leaves two sons, William M. of Cherryvale, Kan., and Robert T. of New Springfield; five grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
A brother, Boyd Moore, is deceased.
Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Dawson Funeral Home, East Liverpool.
