EARL JOE GARDNER, 64

NEW CASTLE, Pa. -- Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Ed & amp; Don DeCarbo Mill Street Funeral Home for Earl Joe Gardner, 64, of 2021 Pennsylvania Ave., who died of cancer Sunday morning at home.
Mr. Gardner was born March 27, 1937, in New Castle, a son of Carl and Julia A. Ettinger Gardner. He worked for the Spring Division of Rockwell International and worked 40 years at New Castle Junk Yard as a burner. He was a member of CG's Club and Bessemer Rod & amp; Gun Club.
Besides his wife, the former Nancy Dickey, whom he married July 12, 1968, he leaves a daughter, Jennifer Jo Gardner of New Castle; three sons, Joseph V. Gardner and Eugene L. Russo, both of New Castle, and John L. Gardner in North Carolina; a stepdaughter, Vicki L. DeMatteo in California; a sister, Jean Gardner of New Castle; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A son, David G. Gardner; two sisters, Margaret Roberts and Jacqueline Williams; and three brothers, Victor M., Elmer F. and Carl L. Gardner, are deceased.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
