YOUNGSTOWN -- Services were to be at noon today at Howard Funeral Home for Chris Fitzgerald, 24, of 325 Myrtle Ave., who was pronounced dead Wednesday at 131 E. Marion St., the location of his recording studio. The Mahoning County Coroner's office is investigating.
Mr. Fitzgerald, who was known as "Big Dog," was born Aug. 22, 1976, in Youngstown, a son of Charles Sr. and Charlotte Longs Fitzgerald, and was a lifelong area resident. He was founder and CEO of Big Dog Records and co-founder of All-N-One Entertainment.
Besides his father and mother, both of Youngstown, he leaves his stepfather, Rudolph Alford of White Deer, Pa.; three daughters, Alize, Andrea and Christine Fitzgerald, all of Youngstown; three brothers, Charles Jr. and Curtis, both of Cleveland, and Craig of Alliance; and grandmother, Betty Mitchell of Youngstown.
His grandparents Henry Longs, Willard Fitzgerald and Lucy Pegram, are deceased.
Friends may call for one hour before services at the funeral home.
