Wheeler 50th is celebrated at family dinner

AUSTINTOWN -- Mr. and Mrs. John Wheeler, 101 Westminster Ave., observed their 50th wedding anniversary during a family dinner March 24 at Alberini's Restaurant, Niles.
Hosts were JoAnn and Tony Nuzzo, Conneaut, Pa., the honoree's daughter and son-in-law.
Mr. and Mrs. Wheeler are members of Austintown Community Church.
Mrs. Wheeler is a homemaker.
A draftsman engineer, Mr. Wheeler retired in 1992. He worked at Fox Industries and Glo-Smith, both in Youngstown.
The former Margaret Anderson and Mr. Wheeler exchanged wedding vows during a ceremony March 22, 1951, in Kentucky.
The family circle also includes sons John Wheeler of Pittsburgh; Jeff Wheeler of Youngstown; and Greg Wheeler and James Wheeler, both of Austintown; daughters Janet Lowe of Austintown; Jackie Abbott of Youngstown; and Judy Workman of North Jackson; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
