VERA PALLO, 89

YOUNGSTOWN -- Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Vaschak-Kirila Funeral Home and at 11 a.m. in St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church for Vera Pallo, 89, of 1580 Cascade Drive, who died of a heart ailment Thursday morning in Austinwoods Nursing Center.
Mrs. Pallo was born May 28, 1911, in Lemont, Pa., a daughter of Michael and Mary Shirilla Dursa, and came to the area as a child.
A homemaker, she was a member of the church, its Rosary Society, pirohy workers and Golden Pillars Senior Citizens.
Her husband, Matthew, whom she married Sept. 1, 1932, died Nov. 28, 1970.
She leaves three sons, Matthew Jr. and Michael, both of Woodbridge, Va., and Richard of Sarasota, Fla.; a daughter, Joan Klacik, with whom she made her home; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
A sister, Julia Lesnak, is deceased.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, where a prayer service will be at 6 p.m. and a Cursillo service will be at 7 p.m. Contributions may be made to Forum Health Tod Children's Hospital.
