YOUNGSTOWN -- Monsignor Lawrence Fye officiated at 2:30 p.m. April 28 at St. Columba Cathedral for the marriage ceremony of Sandra Protopapa and Joseph Pulcini Jr. Parents of the couple are John and Phyllis Protopapa, 1800 Wingate Road, Boardman, and Joseph and Suzanne Pulcini, 9216 Douglas Fir Ave., Plum, Pa.
A reception followed at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman, and the couple are honeymooning at Disney World, Orlando, Fla. They will reside in Pittsburgh.
The bride wore a satin A-line gown trimmed with Alencon lace. It was designed with a V-neckline and short scalloped sleeves.
Her sister, Julie Protopapa, was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Jennifer Pulcini, the groom's sister; Ami Cook; Pam Guidos; Kelly Meehan; Amy McNicol-Cassady; and Michelle Protopapa, the bride's niece. They wore black gowns. Flower girls were Emily Sebunia and the bride's nieces, Samantha and Marilyn Douglas.
The groom's father served as best man, and groomsmen were Kevin Sebunia; Joe and Rocky Protopapa, the bride's brothers; and Eric and Todd Graf and William Pegher, all cousins of the groom. The bride's nephew, Page Douglas, was ring bearer.
A graduate of Youngstown State University with a degree in hospitality management, the bride is employed as sales manager at the Sheraton Station Square Hotel in Pittsburgh.
Mr. Pulcini attended Clarion University and is co-owner and mechanic at Pulcini Automotive, Pittsburgh.
